Quiet niche with a console, round mirror and warm pendant light

Pooja Room & Partitions

A small room that carries more weight than its size.

Designed for daily use, not only for display.

A pooja space has requirements no other room has — a direction to face, somewhere for the lamp that will not scorch the panel above it, ventilation for camphor and incense, and drawers for things that must stay clean.

We ask about your practice before we draw. The design follows from that, whether it ends up a full room, a niche in the hall or a well-made unit behind a jali screen.

Heat and smoke accounted for

A stone or metal-lined lamp shelf and a ventilation path, so the unit above does not darken over the years.

Jali that is cut, not bought

CNC screens drawn to your opening size so the pattern resolves neatly at every edge.

Light that stays soft

Warm concealed light behind the frame rather than a spot glaring off the idols.

How this is priced

Pooja work is quoted as a unit rather than by area, because the detailing varies so much. Jali screens are priced by the square foot of screen.

How we work

Five steps, and you know the price before step four.

No surprise costs halfway through, no subcontractor you have never met turning up at your door. This is the whole process, start to finish.

Site visit & measure

We come to your home, measure every wall ourselves and look at the things that decide a design — slab level, beam positions, existing wiring, where the daylight actually falls.

Pooja Room & Partitions questions.

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call us and ask.

Very often, yes — a niche with a jali screen or a shuttered unit works well and can be closed when you have guests. The main things to settle are the facing direction and keeping it clear of the main walking line.

No. Marble is traditional and wipes clean easily, but a well-detailed wooden unit with a stone lamp shelf achieves the same thing for less. The shelf under the lamp is the part we would not compromise on.
